God works in every aspect of your life even through the people that come into your life, so please don’t shut out the friends that show their love for you, as they are also his way of bringing you closer to him. That is why he places them in your life when needed.

The day before this bike ride it was such a lovely sunny day and as I was riding along the bike track close to my home I saw a lizard basking in the sun and a few others darting here and there, but alas I did not have my camera with me to capture them. So I decided from now on I will not be leaving home without it. I did not see any lizards this day but I did get these pics. See what simple beauty abounds in just the surroundings of your neighbourhood, life is Wonderful!!.
It’s funny how life throws us issues that look like canon balls hurling at our heads, and in a few hours or days or months we realize, ah man, that wasn’t a canon ball, that was good karma smacking me upside the head! How many times have we read about the person who was suppose to be somewhere, got a flat tire, and that flat tire ultimately saved them from some horrible fate? How many times have we been in a bad situation, sickness, economic issues, etc. and thought that while we were there, that there was no silver lining, only to find out later that without that hard time, we wouldn’t have what we have today.
Life is a mystery. Each day is filled with things that amaze us and provide so many levels of emotions. Every day we move forward, adapting, changing and some days, we realize that what is before us, really is something that we need.
The Test
The test of a man is the fight he makes
The grit that he daily shows;
The way he stands on his feet and takes
Fate’s numerous bumps and blows.
A coward can smile when there’s naught to fear,
When nothing his progress bars,
But it takes a man to stand up and cheer
While some other fellow stares.
It isn’t the victory after all,
But the fight that a brother makes,
The man, who, driven against the wall,
Still stands up erect and takes
The blows of fate with his head held high
Bleeding and bruised and pale,
He’s the man who’ll win in the by and by,
For he isn’t afraid to fail.
It’s the bumps you get and the jolts you get
And the shocks that your courage stands,
The hours of sorrow and vain regret,
The prize that escapes your hands,
That test your mettle and prove your worth.
It isn’t the blows you deal,
But the blows you take on this good, old earth
That shows if your stuff is real.
My wish for everyone….is that your world too is full to capacity with wonder, joy, love and everything else good.

I have a love of Poetry and would like to share with you my favourites and in doing so you might find a love of Poetry too. I have a multitude of Poetry so therefore will be adding them for a while to come and also when I find another to add to my collection, so always come back to peruse. I know that Poetry embodies personal taste and feelings but I am sure you will find most to delight your senses.
